Carrageenan, also known as carrageenan, antler alginate, Irish guar gum, is composed of galactose and dehydrated galactose composed of polysaccharide sulfate calcium, potassium, sodium, ammonium salt. Seven major types of carrageenan are produced due to the different sulfate binding states: κ-type, ι-type, λ-type, γ-type, ν-type, ξ-type, μ-type.
